It’s ok to slowly start by engaging with healthier habits like eating good, fresh foods, participating in moderate exercise, and being mindful. We can live long and healthy, happy lives by bringing wellness into the forefront in all aspects of our lives.
To help you achieve this, we share our favourite 10 self-care wellness activities to help you clear your mind, recharge your body, and inspire your soul:
- Take a walk outside in nature – rain or shine, every day
- Declutter 3 items from your home and office
- Volunteer at an animal shelter, a shelter for the underhoused, or seniors care facility
- Perform a random act of kindness any day, anytime, anywhere
- Try two new healthy recipes a month, and consider including #meatlessmonday into your meal planning
- Practice daily meditation – or simply rest and breathe deeply for at least 5 minutes
- Invest in quality vitamins and take them every day
- Buy yourself a bouquet of flowers or a plant every so often
- Write in a gratitude journal – list the top 3 things you’re grateful for each day
- Book a mini wellness retreat within two to five hours of your home
