Recipe: Bliss Balls

Summer wellness often finds us walking, hiking and out on the water more frequently as the great weather encourages us to do more outside. And that means having easy to pack snacks on hand for a healthy burst of energy. We are pleased to share this delicious coconut and apricot Bliss ball recipe created by our wellness travel partner, Mountain Trek Health Reset Retreat. You will want to double the recipe because these yummy treats are that good!

With just the right amount of spice and sweetness, these bliss balls are a home run snack at Mountain Trek. They are easily prepared over the weekend to last you the entire week ahead.

Bliss Balls

Crispy outside and tender and succulent on the inside. Fish friendly and perfect as a main dish or a side.


  • 1 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup hemp seed butter
  • 2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 3/4 cup coconut
  • 3/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • Zest from 1 1/2 oranges
  • Orange juice, to moisten
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Using a food processor, chop nuts, and apricots finely.
  2. Add the nut butters and remaining ingredients.
  3. Form into balls with a small scoop
  4. Refrigerate or freeze.
  5. Enjoy!
