76% of Consumers to Spend More on Wellness Travel

Industry trade journal Travel Weekly recently shared that American Express data from September 2021 indicated that “… wellness remains a top travel trend amid the pandemic, with a global survey indicating that 76% of consumers want to spend more on travel to improve their well-being and 68% reporting that they’ll likely plan their next vacation around improving mental well-being in particular.”

As we continue out of the pandemic, a recent article in SKIFT points to the opportunities to expand wellness travel beyond the traditional spa experience.
